Mission

SNAHP’s mission is “to empower impacted community members to address the root causes of poverty and food insecurity, such as racism, classism, and systemic oppression to create an equitable Maine.”

Goal

SNAHP’s goal is “to build a community of support for poor and working-class people to promote mutual aid, equity, and radical systems change through mechanisms of community organizing, leadership development, education, and peer support.
